Definition:
World Trade Organization - is the only global international organization dealing with the rules of trade between nations. WTO was created to oversee the operation of GATT.
Passing Off
Definition:
The substitution of one brand of goods when another brand is ordered. Trademark infringement where the infringer intentionally meant to mislead or deceive purchasers.
Trade Secret
Definition:
Business information that is the subject of reasonable efforts to preserve confidentiality and has value because it is not generally known in the trade.
